Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of trying to setup a mini Paypal shop online. We will be shipping products purchased in the shop to both the UK and Ireland. What I was wondering is whether it is possible to specify UK and Irish delivery costs as seperate entities on Paypal to ensure we don't undercharge deliveries to Ireland.

If any whizz could help with this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

This will probably be a function you have to create on your website and not paypal.

Hi Movie Booth,

You may use PayPal to accept your shoppers credit/debit card payments but replace the basic PayPal shopping basket with the Shop Integrator ecommerce plugins in your web pages (http://www.shopintegrator.com/ecommerce/ecommerce.html) (nothing to install, just copy and paste in the same way you added the PayPal buttons). This will give you a more feature rich shop for your site which will allow you to have a shipping plan with different postage costs to UK and Ireland.

You may also offer shoppers on checkout multiple shipping plans (e.g. maybe 7 day delivery or a Fast 48 Hour delivery option) and can also create shipping plans that have different postage costs depending on the total order weight and the shopper’s country (http://www.shopintegrator.com/feature/add-shipping-and-delivery-charges-for-tangible-goods-sales.html), capable of modelling the tariffs of your chosen delivery company.

As a UKBF member, I’ll be happy to offer you the Shop Integrator ecommerce plugins on your website for free until you have generated sales for twice the amount of cost of our ecommerce software or 30 days (which ever gives you the longer free trial period). Our prices start at only £39.99. This gives you a no obligation way to try it for free and if it is not for you, will not cost you anything.

I suspect you'd need to build this functionality into your site, although it needn't be complicated (or expensive) to do so - if you PM me some more details on what you are selling, etc - and the sort of behaviour you want, I will see if we can help!

Hi there

I came to find this thread because I started getting European orders from my site and I use paypal buttons and there was NO way you can set up different postage levels using this solution (very poor..Paypal..boooo) Anyway as a result of this thread, I contacted Shop Integrator. I have to say their service and product are amazing. And very cost effective too. When you starting a business and you get good service (for a change) you want to shout about it. And this is one case in point. They totally know what they are doing and the communication from them is great. I would 100% recommend.

Check out my new site with European enabled postage levels! puredog.co.uk
