Did anyone else get this (I noticed a few that post on here have links on his site):-

You've been very kind and have helped me run some fabulous competitions and give away some great prizes on my website at [domain name], and I hope that next year will be as good as this year.

I was wondering, if I could be very cheeky, and see if you had any little things lying around that may be suitable for my two young children, who are very much looking forward to Christmas.

I've attached a picture of them for you.

I thought I'd ask, as you never know.

Can you believe that the man would have the gall to do that and he included pictures of his kids in the email!!!

Sorry Jayne, it was an email I meant, basically a begging email and he was enclosing pictures of his kids to gain sympathy and to get free items!

There is some sick pigs out there

If they are that poor, they cannot aford to buy their kids things for Christmas, they should sell their computers and buy their kids a mountain bike, or something and use the library internet instead!

There said my bit :D

I'm always nice to my customers.

I do get everywhere but that all thank to UKBF.

So far I've had a free marketing appraisal, a great load of feedback on my site, sold 3 paintings, am stocking my paintings and pebbles in Hayles shop, have got almost free business cards, have arranged an event with more than words, got an article published in free cyber mag and have just been offered artist of the month in be inspired mag.

All hail UKBF members

Honestly if he approaches you to advertise dont pay him. He has been so rude to other advertisers when they asked to cancel because they got no click throughs from his site.

Just realised I didnt say who he was, please PM me if you want to know. I dont want to advertise his site for him and I also dont want to get the forum or myself in trouble by putting his name on here!

I got that email today, but I also had another with the same message, minus the photos sent to me by him last week.

It really put me on the spot. :?

I couldn't believe it when I saw today that he had sent another out to everyone!

I will be getting rid of his link and cancelling our agreement first thing tomorrow.

Some people have absolutely no shame!!!

I agree Kate and everyone I know is up in arms about this and is doing the same. Be prepared for a rude email in return as he has told others he has done nothing wrong!

Just to ask those that know the law better than I, could I or the site get into trouble for me putting this email on here although it doesnt contain any names or website addresses? Its been a worry on another site I go on where someone else is also up in arms about this

Thanks

Toni

Believe it or not, but I made the "Dogs Monthly" Magazine...
My in-laws next door neighbour is a dog magazine guy and came in and asked if he could take pictures of us for the magazine, so we obliged, rolled over and played dead.

This is my claim to fame...

You guys dont know if I can get some free stuff for that, do you?
I will send you the photo. The dog is really looking forward to christmas...

That's nothing, we were in Your Cat last month! And the Brittania Building Society Magazine.

Begging letters eh? Don't they just make you wanna smack 'em? We used to get them from prisoners and quite often get them from members of the armed forces.

Lol...well believe it or not we received another today claiming that the one sent yesterday was not by him and was sent by his colleague without his authorisation...yeah..right...!!!! Strange that as last week similar letters were also sent out from his site!
