Ok, here's a weird question

I just wanted some ideas on what would be the best way to carry around fashion jewellery samples?. The problem is, there are loads of samples and this is imitation jewellery so not very expensive, so its not worth buying boxes for each sample, and also not possible to carry too many boxes. So I have to carry about 100 samples in a bag, but what do you think would be the best way to display them. If I put them on hangers, and then put them in the bag, they tend to get tangled. So is the case with most other things I carry themon.

Be Creative :)

Hi,

Fishing fly boxes, or those DIY ones with the little compartments. I used them for all my cake bits, very handy for moving around little things :D

I pin my jewellery onto 'velvet' covered boards (just glue material onto cheap foam board) and they stack nicely into an easy to carry art-portfolio.

Ash, where do you want to to display them? Is this for crafts shows or to take to potential retailers?

If it's for crafts shows and large cork board covered in black velvet or fur worked well. You can hang the jewlelery on pins you stick into the cork.

For transportation, for the pieces without very large "beads" get one of those boxes suggested above. Maybe from here... http://www.argentice.co.uk/shop/beadfindings-box-p-147.html :) otherwise a velvet roll is fine.
