Just found this site and been reading the postings for ages! Seems very helpful and friendly.
Once I've read through all the postings I know I'm going to have lots and lots of questions to ask you all!
I have a catering/function venue business in Essex - and a evening/bridal wear shop in bonny Scotland. Although I'm still not sure I know what I want to do when I grow up....!

Hi Hales
Welcome to the forums and look forward to seeing your posts.
Do you spend most of your life travelling between essex and scotland? :)

Hi
I did spend a lot of time up and down the M6 when I first started but the staff have got everything under control now so I don't need to visit so often.
We were planning on moving to Scotland this year but it isn't going to happen for a while yet. I'm really lucky to have a good friend running the shop until then.

Hi all
Thanks for the welcomes!
The shop is in a beautiful village called Aberfeldy - about 40 miles from Perth. Not too many people have heard of it yet (except knowing JK Rowling lives there perhaps). This should change in the next couple of years though as the local castle (!) Taymouth, is currently being renovated into a 6.5* hotel!
The shop sells bridal wear, special occasion and evening wear as well as a range of gifts.

Hi Hayles,

I am also an Essex Girl hailing from Ingatestone (family still live there) and have a wedding section on my website, so we have 2 things in common!

Hi Kate
Your site looks great!
Feeling very inferior as our catering and venue site look pants compared to all of yours.....and our shop site is still not up and running.
Drastic changes are needed...!!
