At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot, how does google pick up pages and posts? has been listed with them a while ago, and I searched for something - a gig with a quite unknown artist, and my site name, and still nothing came up for my site - my Facebook fan page did though! :(
I'm probably doing something very wrong :(

Wordpress I see -
Have you installed XML SITE MAP and then went to webmaster tools and then installed the code to verify your site in the <head> section?
Once this is verified your site should rocket!

When you have done that install these wordpress plug-ins
Dagon Design Sitemap Generator
Google XML Sitemaps
Create a new page called /sitemap/ and the first plug-in will generate a regular site map
once you activate the second plug-in it will generate a new xml site map every time you update the site and ping google - after a while you'll find that any new pages get indexed within a few minutes (provided you update fairly often).

if you are using WP then you need to have a decent ping list that pings sites every time you post etc.

WP ping lists can be found here:

not sure if these are ideal as they're for WP blogs - is there a difference.

Wordpress is one of the best on-site SEO optimized CMSs out there. If you're doing everything properly, you shouldn't need a sitemap at all.
Get some backlinks and your pages will start showing up in search results ;)
Some basic Wordpress SEO would include installing "All in one SEO pack" Wordpress plugin, and making sure your permalink structure is SEO friendly one.

Google should just spider naturally, providing you have some links.
Suggest you contact all related sites and ask for link swaps. You'll need about 20k's worth to see any decent traffic.

When I checked Google's cached version of your hompage it shows "This page is under construction - sorry! We're working on getting it ready for you." dated 29th August.
