I have an order for goods from dubai wherby i arrange shipping.
Am i correct in saying I should not charge vat on the goods?

Yes you are (although its actually VAT charged at zero rate) - goods shipped outside the EC should be zero rates - there are criteria but if you are arranging shipping and are sending the stuff to Dubai you are fine

That's correct, but you must keep the correct documents to prove that the goods have left the EU.

I'm told that HMCE officers are very keen on this, and will NOT accept photocopies where you should have originals
