God idea your you clever Seo and marketing guys? [Archive]

Had a thought this morning about all the expertise that you guys often give away for nothing. Would it be feasible do you think to set up a premium rate phone line for your business, so that people could be charged per minute for your advice?
If there was one for php I would defo use it and I think others would too. You could also ask them for their email addy when they phone you so that you could build a marketing list for nothing!

Still think there may be some mileage in it for experts on a personal level, especially with the more personal contacts you guys have on forums

The better business model is to charge a set fee for a telephone call. Lots of SEO's do that.

Anyway I know all you guys are poor so I just wanted to help out with my suggestion
I only come in here to see how the poor people live :p

We have a sign down at the bottom the hill it says "beware poor people crossing"

If there was no SEO's and marketers you "developers" would be out of job since there would be not much point in having a site at all :P

I think the reason you have to be careul of the poor devils is that they keep trying to throw themselves under the posh cars. The closest they will ever come to riding in a RR is to be stuck to the wheels :D

I thought it was a decent idea Gina.

I had a look at the other link and most of the people seem to be out with the UK.

Maybe there is something in it for over here. Plus some of those people were just looking for silly money. :eek:

As if they aint got enough to deal with. I have heard that they have to go to J.Sainsbury's emporium so that they can feed a family of five for £55 is that correct?
