Hi all,
I am a small business owner, We provide family holidays in Europe and USA, it started in Bournemouth but now most of the year i have to be in Brittany, so not a bad thing.
I am a member of a couple of forums - WHT & SEOCHAT they are very informative and have a wealth of knowledge and tips, these are very important for my business venture.

Luckily my business is my hobby, i am very interested in SEO and internet marketing - i like to forget about the business every now n then, but when i do i feel guilty or that i have missed something.

I LIVE AND BREATHE HOLIDAYS - i hardly ever have a holiday.

I look forward to talking to you all and asking for advice and also giving advice.

See you all soon.

Iain

Hi Iain

Welcome to the forum!

I have been to Domaine de Kerlann and was very impressed, Pont Avon is beautiful and Concarneau is a lovely rampart town... Having had recent holidays in Collioure (another arty rampart town) in the South and Brittany I would say that Brittany gets my vote hands down!!! As always though there never seems enough time on a one or two week holiday to take it all in!!!

I'm sure you will enjoy this forum and I look forward to hearing more about my next holiday

Hi Jayne,
cheers for the welcome. I looked at your sites.

It's true what you say about people think you are dodgy cos you are helpful.
We find people hesitate in booking a holiday because we are very customer friendly and we give them as much info as possible.

It's sad the way the world is going, i come from a customer service background and was trained 15/20 years ago on customer care, that has all gone now.

I get angry when i ring up to ask a question ready to buy a product and you get rude, uneducated and unhelpful sales people.

We must not lower our standards to theirs though.

I'm off to the Ecommerce section so spk to you later.

Hi,

I was brought up old fashioned, my Gran says if someone wants help and you can do it, you must, you may need help from them one day. She used to be a manageress of a market shop for years and told me how to be with customers and other people. Sometimes people use me because of this and take advantage because they are getting something for free, but I'm me and that's how I will always be. For every bad person there is a nice one, so I'll never give up :D
