If you find one let me know!!

Best bit is an independent waste transfer station, avoid the council owned, and the larger organisations. Probably won't be free, but there is usually a bit of give and take in the pricing, partic if you unload yourself and can pay on the spot.

Yeah me too I'd love to know where something like that was. Depending on volume stick it in the car not the van and take it to the tip

Hi all,
im new here but glad to see that there are people talking about this sort of thing.
I know its not easy to find a reasonable company for tipping.
I would keep away from the council. Its not much help to you but i am opening a wood recycling site in Kent, but the cost of tipping of most companys will be a min of a tonne and also depend on what type of wood it is.
As i rule it will prob be around the £20 mark.
Have a look at the WRAP web site it may be of use.
I hope this helps.

Is Widnes Skip Hire free ? *just askin*

Anyways, nhughs,if you find somewhere post it here M8 ;)

Remember though,if you are loaded up and heading for that free place you just found, make sure you have a current licence to transport waste.

Otherwise you will not only lose your waste and vehicle, a hefty fine into the bargain will be coming your way.

From personal experience of getting pulled 3 times in the last 2 months or so ( i was legit tho ) and getting a lecture every time from the Enviro Agency hippies
