Hi guys

many of you are probably aware of the nature of business i run by now.

And thanks to advise and help recieved within this forum i am relaunching the business.
The website has been revamped, i will show you all once its completed.
to remind you though i am running the multmedia training company.
And i need some advise and help. Well more advise really

firstly,
I want to be able to offer a forum where ppl can come and discuss courses thay have bought from us. Ask any questions about it.
I do not want to offer one of those businesses where i sell them a course then their on their own.
BUT, i do not want to be offering a free cosultency service either where ppl get so much help, they do not need to buy the CDs in the first place.
So, i decided, as i defnintely want the forum, that instead of offering IT advise i would have it newsletter orientated. This will come clearer in a sec.
The thing is i want to provide a community for my business, without giving away too much free advise.
Any thoughts.

Newsletter
This is something someone suggested within this forum (thanks to matt of mk busineses for that one)
The newsletter will be month to start with, and will offer latest news in computing, hot tips, success stories. Naturally weaving in bits about the company, and latest products.
The problem, i need a name for it.

Here the fun bit. A competition
This is running in other forums as well now, but i will also open it to you.
The member who can think of a nice catchy name for the newsletter will
win one of my courses. If we do not have what they want, then any subequesnt course they like will be made available to them instead.
The winner will recieve this, plus full credit for coming up with the name, meaning a mention in the newsletter.

Now i am aware that many in here might not need the training, but someone you know might. and with xmas coming, it would make a nice gift.
I would have no trouble gift wrapping it as well if this is the case :-)

Also if the winning recipient can then produce for us a nice paragraph on how the course helped them, and it is used. This user will then win another course of their choice. along with being made customer of the month (mentioned on my website) AND will be added to the testomonials (althugh this is optional).

The name must reflect the company name, Easy as IT.

any ideas, thoughts on the above please let me know :-)

Thanks

Al

I can remember newspaper sellers shouting the main headlines followed by the phrase "read all about it" to passers-by. Given the name of your company, maybe your newsletter can be Read all about IT.

Hi Al,
Now I may be a little out of line here, after all, it is Friday evening.

What about ****? 'The quiet way to IT success.'

Guess I haven't considered too much about your advertising campaign.
Cheers, Nigel

Hi all

thank you for all your responses, there are some interesting, and certainly original suggestions
EasyPC would been a close runner, but there is already mag already called that :-(
I also like "Read all About IT"
in fact if it was available as a busness name i was have called my business that instead.

But please keep them coming. I appreciate all the entries, i will of course post who the winner is in thr forum.
If the winner is from here i will also send a pm asking for details about sending them a course, once they decide what they want :-)

Al

Thank you again
