Just starting to looking into doing something with Youtube for marketing. Anyone else done anything in terms of marketing ? What have you done, is it actually working in terms of getting sales in ? Can I see it >?

I think that good idea to attach youtube movie to your blog if you have it. E.g. picture in order to prove your blog opinion. It can attract people to your blog.
Another good points - to make presenation and download it on slideshare. When somebody looking for your company in search engine he can receive link to presentation and look at your presentation. But it's only my point of view.

Im just thinking of putting some stuff up in Youtube too. I think it might be fun and a little interesting to see what reaction I get. So far, I just have a couple of presentations on there but need to slow them down a bit.

A very good idea indeed. To make it successful you should have a quality presentation in order to persuade potential consumer.

I have done a few YouTube virals for marketing purposes.It can be successful but most of the time it is a waste of time. You can't just post something and expect people to watch it unless it already has anticipated public interest.

It takes a combination of great content and clever seeding to pull it off.

But it really depends on what you are trying to market and who your audience is.

Your better off to concentrate on "Marketing" rather than just trying to create viral videos; a marketing video specifically for your target audience.
