I've now decided on building my site in Magento and have had a bit of success in the sense that I've managed to upload my products list (easy for some, a major achievement for me lol)!
Anyhow, I now have a products list which consists of 1,661 products which I now want to distribute to various categories. The only way I can see of doing this so far (with my novice eye) is by going into each individual product and assigning it to a category. Surely there must be an easier and faster way of doing this? Is there some way you can collectively select say for example 140 products and assign them all to a certain category in a single move?
