I was surfing the net and found a really good link to a website that has os commerce bundled with lots of addons.
Now I cant seem to find that link again :(
Does anyone have any links to these kind of websites? Thank you

Have you tried the osCommerce forums? ;) There's plenty of information there.

Thank you... I have tried to install cre loaded onto the shared server (VPS) I am using with no luck at all.
Not even the hosting company can help, they dont understand what I am trying to do. Then after a week of contact they say "its a web programming issue".
Basically the problem I am having is installation just wont seem to work. They wont provide me with the database server name which is annoying. But every method I try I get a different error.
Can anyone off these forums run though the installation script with me?
Thank you

you need php / mysql and apache to be able to run oscommerce. All of which are most common on Linux servers

This is like taking a bulldozer to the window garden.
Is there any simpler solution to allowing someone to select and buy one of my photographs preferably a link from my existing site via a buy now button.

Take a look at this.. http://www.romancart.com/
It cost £40+VAT, but seems to be worth the money.

Success I final managed to install, configure osCommerce including patches and start building my online site.
Once I had it working it's pretty easy to use, a few things have me stuck but I will hopefully resolve them tomorrow.

Not really a problem as I haven't reached this part yet but I want to change the headings from Catagories to Prints and Manufacturers to Artists any clues on how?

All sorted now, after all the initial grief on the installation it's pretty easy and pleasant system to work with.
