Hi All,

I hope someone can help with what is a simple query.

We are a limited company who use Kashflow (which we think is excellent BTW). The guys who set up the business had been setting up expense codes to fit their needs :| and we now have our company accounts due. Our accountant has forwarded them a copy of their profit and loss which looks nothing like the one Kashflow produces (due to the huge range of expense codes having been set up).

I obtained a list of the codes the accountants use and have spent several days re-posting expenses to codes that match the one the accountants use. Howevere, there are still some discrepencies and I was hoping someone could check the list below and make sure I had put the right things in the right places - Please!!

I apprecaite that this is something the accountant would be able to help with, however it is not possible to approach him about this at the moment (Long story and maybe for another time - although it is nothing against the accounting firm or accountant).

Anyway, it would be much appreciated if someone could help.

Expense codes are subjective and not always black and white/ right or wrong, anybody can set them up in their own way.

They all look reasonably sensible but it is hard to tell by just looking at a list. Which codes have the differences?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.

We have a meeting with the accountant today to discuss the P&L and will obviously talk about the differences, I was just hoping that I had -more or less - put the right things against the right codes.

Thank you again.
