Fairtrade..any ideas?

I am attending a local council meeting and looking for ideas on how we can get local businesses to stock more fairtrade products. We need to get shops, cafes, restaurants, schools, offices selling or supplying Fairtrade goods. Some of the things the commitee have done is run a stall selling fairtrade things and events like coffee mornings etc. I think this could be more varied, make this committee more like a campaign team. Any ideas?
