Does anybody know of a reliable dropshipper in the UK? Preferably for Electronics and Computing products.
I been thinking of selling online with an eccommerce store for a few years but i do not have the capital to buy stock upfront so i was hoping to drop ship.
Eventually once i have capital i want to start my own IT business from an actual office but for now drop shipping is the only option i can think off.
If anybody knows of anything and doesnt mind saying please PM me or post here.
kind regards
Stewart

the main business i want to do is IT support and consultancy.
Me and 2 other friends all work in IT careers and are IT professionals but we dont have the capital to be able to setup the business we want. We know that the business wont make profit for a good few months while were getting established so will not have funds to pay family bills.
We have many skills from.
web design/development (php, asp, xml, css, html etc)
database administration and development including access, oracle, foxpro and sql/mysql.
vb6 and vb.net for application development
search engine optimisation
networking, server installation and support
plus much more
but as though we cant afford it we did consider the dropshipping side of things.

Hi Stewart,
I do not know what the favorate Electronics and Computing products are in UK. I think if you want to do the business of some product, we need investigate the market, which kinds of the product are popular by people, and what the price range people could receive? The requestament for the quality of the pruducts? Then we can search the supply.
When you know the market, then you can search the suitable products. and chat the price, the quality and so on about the product.
Of course, you will invest some money in the business. Are you ready?
Best regards
Sophie

Have you tried Salehoo (http://814dc6eni05r2rajlcqe2f9ncz.hop.clickbank.net/), I've used them myself and they have some very reliable and low priced dropshippers.

I have been looking for weeks and weeks and found nothing. I am not phoning the uk dealers direct to try and work out how to get an account with them.
It seems there would be massive demand for one should someone with a lot of money be thinking of starting a business. :D

Why not just become an affiliate to an IT website?

This involves buying something upfront. With dropshipping should never have to pay upfront just for an account.
and in regards to being an affiliate of an IT website, well i did look into this using affiliate window but the products were awful and expensive.
Also the commission was something stupid like 1%

It is an extremely easy way to make money provided you pick the right products and deal directly with manufacturers and have an understanding of how the web works.

-1 for affiliates, you cant use google base etc which is cheap and easy... if you have the conversion rate.

Someone said about salehoo, they are a good directiry . You have to pay to join them tho. I have made a wholesale directory (http://www.gowholesaledirectory.co.uk) which is free and its taken me three years to get this list together.
Its worth a look anyway gowholesaledirectory.co.uk
