Hey all.

How are we? Good I hope. Well over the past month I have been posting numerous topics here and you've all been great and very complimentary. As you know I have started a home business/hobby where I write a magazine for people to download. I have set up my own web site and have today created a forum. I was wondering if anyone would kindly volunteer to register and help build a community on my forum (is this against ukbusinessforums rules. If so I am sorry and please remove this post.) You will be helping me to get off the ground as you know it can be difficult without friends helping out. My forum is not attached to my web page yet so the only people on there will be you guys at the moment. Could you also feedback to me what you think of 1) the forum layout. 2) the forum topics 3) the forum overall etc.
I want to get things right before I go live and your my guinea pigs ha ha.
If anyone is upset by this post or feel I am doing something wrong please let me know and I will edit it so I don't cause offence. I don't mean to.
Thanks to everyone that volunteers anyway.

My link to the forum is www.freecybermag.com/index.php

Regards

P.S. To the moderators of UK Business Forums. Please let me know if this is against your rules. I don't want to be banned. Thanks

Hi Chris,

Nothing wrong with your post in my opinion...

BUT You've used phpbb which is the same forum software that runs UKBF - I'd make it more personalised with your mags colours, layout etc.. like Ozzy has done to this forum.

Also the topics should relate to your target market.

Hope this helps a bit :)

Hi Rob

Cheers for that. Not sure how to change my logo yet so if you have any ideas please let me know.
The topics I have on my forum are the ones that appear in my mag. Maybe I can put a heading on the forum that suggests this? What do you think?

Cheers

I'm sorry guys. If anyone is looking at my forum I have made a spelling mistake and am trying to change it but the program is taking a while to update itslef and so I can't change the word. My apologise and as soon as I see it on my control panel I will change the word.

As requested, I posted a message to your forum. I hope it's in line with your expectations.

Good luck with this new venture.

That will just be a problem with your cache just put a ? after your URL and it should update it. I have just changed my browsers settings so that the page is reloaded every time I visit it.
