If it were me
You could write articles and blog posts referencing Gum tree in the title (in the case of site number 2) detailing your service with a link.

It is then possible when people search 'gumtree' they see your blog/articles listed nearby in the searchengine results.

Alternatively why not offer your service to GumTree themselves being as it makes using their service easier?

Re the property search service.
This page needs work.

You could offer it to website owners as a 'widget' to place on their own sites.

If they have a property blog etc they might want to offer this service to readers.

You could make your own widgets for both of these sites

Promote them on widget sites etc.

It's minimalist

The copy could do with tightenting up on both sites but the property one is the most lacking.

Re Gum tree

not everyone knows what gumtree is

Some explanation re that might help and also might increase traffic to your site. Ie SEO content and what not.
