Im building a website for a local takeaway and was wondering if when a customer makea an order online and pays by card can the takeaway have the payment paid right into there bank account ??

Mine go into my bank account after a few days via Barclays but most offer the same service. It comes at a price though, about £30 a month fee plus percentage etc.

so there will be a cost no matter what bank ??

yes any bank charge for a merchant account, also you need to pay a fee to people like sagepay if you need the transaction processed in realtime.

JohnThat's interesting actually. The thought crossed my mind; what if the client ends up not liking the food? Do they have the same "right" to refuse not to pay (or obtain a refund via their card)?
