You have to be so careful with your choice of words. :) Great Britain is the name of an island and not the name of a country. My passport reads The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

By the way, did anyone notice how Bill Clinton (to woo the Irish vote) always referred to Tony Blair as the Prime Minister of Great Britain, whereas George Bush always refers to our country as the United Kingdom? A subtle difference but an important one.
