Hi All,

I need some places to post about my new event (I'm sure you've all read about it). Myself and Morethanwords have got together to organise it, but we want to get the message out there to attract some speakers, exhibitors and delegates.

Any ideas? (FREE sites only please)

Claire

That would be great thanks Chris, can you pop it in for me, it might be good to place with the article you are putting in Novembers issue. Perhaps you should feature something on morethanwords too as she is also in on the networking event with me.

Claire,

I don't know what your event is about, is it art related?

When I used to run an art gallery, we used to be able to get address labels sent to us by the council. A targetted - opt-in mailing list. This is the local one.. http://www.swansea.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=5700 but I bet there will be one in the Essex area too.

Thanks I'll give it a go.

If you look on our website at News and events you can find out more info. Any business can come a long but we are looking for design based businesses to exhibit.

Job done!

Event is being registered and posted right now!

Hope everyone in the area will come along - like Claire has said, although it's arts/creatives orientated there will be people from various industries there.
We're hoping some of the decision makers at local headquarters like Ford, Mellon and First Data will come along so it'll be worth it for a bit of shoulder rubbing with the big boys!!

See you there!

As a suggestion, I have listened to a small business podcast called rather predictably, "Small Biz Pod", which is a UK based radio show type presentation.

If your event is aimed at UK businesses, you might do well to try for a mention on the next show (depending in timing of the show / and your event of course).

The URL is http://www.smallbizpod.co.uk/

Bounce an email off comments@smallbizpod.co.uk, explaining what you've got coming up. The worst that the guy can say is no...
