Research & Development Grants?

Hi, does anyone have any info on research and development grants?

I'm in wales but my business partner is in england if that makes a difference? I also have someone helping in northern ireland if location is important.

We probably won't need too much - the idea is quite simple but we need cad drawings, a prototype etc

theres only 3 of us working on it, its to produce an innovative but simple product that could potentially save lives,

I'm making a proto-prototype myself at the moment which should give me an idea of whether the theory works to pay for the real thing.

any help would be gratefully received.

All of the grants have been renamed, and dealt with by a Single Investment Fund, taking over from the plethora of old grants, including the SMART awards

Don't overlook the EU. You will probably need a joint venture involving two countries but for your post that should not be too difficult.
