Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, so please forgive me if it's not - it wasn't intentional.
This week I have been working hard on this:
SterlingYork.co.uk
I would love to hear your feedback, positive and negative. Many thanks for your valuable time.

I think it looks good and fairly slick. It needs to be in your business area!
It is laid out as a blog. Have you considered setting pages as the front end with the blog bit as a secondary part (labelled e.g. latest news or something like that).

Hi William,
Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback, and yeah I agree - the blog should be secondary and the front page should be the real driver of revenue etc. Perhaps the Forex Robot Reviews on the front page.
Cheers!

I agree it looks nice but could do with more colour. Perhaps introduce a blue or orange, especially for the post headers which are black. Also when you mouseover the menu system I find it better when the link changes colour.
Good effort though!

Awesome guys, thanks so much for taking the time to review the site - I understand you all must be very busy running your own businesses. Spock, I've taken your comments on board, and agree - maybe a little bit more colour and I agree with the menu idea. Thanks again!

Hi Scott19,
I like your green banner with the mission statement at the top, but I think it is too big and takes up too much space. I looked at it on my desktop and on my laptop and all I could see in each of the browser windows I had open was the green banner and mission statement, it wasn't obvious that there was anything else below it as it took up the whole browser window. Initially I thought it was a 'splash' page and it was about to direct me in to the main site after a short period of time.
I looked in IE7 and IE6. If you are not planning on supporting IE6, then the next sentance can be ignored, but in IE6, your mission statement text is really small and scrunched up, it is not readable.

Hi shopintegrator,
Many thanks for taking the time to review my site; however, I think you are reviewing our other site (fivetwotwo . com). But in this post we were looking for thoughts on the following site (sterlingyork . co . uk)
Many thanks! :)

Hi Scott,
Yes, you are absolutely right, I was reviewing fivetwotwo! I quickly read your post and saw that domain in your signature :) I bet everyone else was thinking, "what green banner?"
OK, now I've looked at sterlingyork I think it looks great. I agree with the earlier post that it could do with some colour, maybe by introducing a coloured nav bar?
It comes across like a broadsheet newspaper, which fits a financial site.
What I would suggest as a small change is to the large green ticks next to the key points in the top section. I think these green ticks should be a bit smaller and you should reduce the width to height ratio as they are about twice as wide as they are tall and I think it looks a bit strange.

Very nice looking site there.
If I were being a bit picky, you could increase the white levels on the main HP image, just so it's a perfect white behind the dice and then blends seemlessly with the sites white background.
