Hi guys
Im looking to register a trade name, for my business, i dont want to go limited as its just to much hassle.
Could anyone tell me how to just register a name, so that i could use for a shop name, on leaflets etc?

If I remember correctly you can reserve register a company name without going limited.. Not 100% though..

You can go to the Patent Office website for trade mark registration or we can do it for you - as it's possible to get into difficulties without realising since applications are examined for novelty under various criteria and you also have to be careful to specify the right description in the correct class of goods and services.
You have a choice incidentally between UK and Community (EU) Trade Mark registration.
By the way, trade mark registration also gives you a monopoly, which company registration doesn't!
