What sort of scale project?

You may find it's even worthwhile to get a dedicated (or virtual) windows server, then run SQL Express.

I have used Zen Internet for hosting in the past, and although they were pretty good overall, they were also pretty expensive - but they do offer a decent ASPNET/SQL Server package.

Have a look at http://www.2008hosting.net should provide everything you need. W2K8 IIS7 based with MSSQL 2008 x64.

My only worry is their site looks a little rough, which is a little off-putting.

Rough in what way? I will pass your comments onto our graphics guy!

Actually on looking a bit more, their disk-space and bandwidth seems very low for the price. Even Fasthosts (http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/hosting/)can beat that by a mile.

In fact I'm wondering about using them, since they're who I registered my domain with. My wife uses UK2.net but they don't seem to have a cheap Windows hosting option.

Hi

My website is only used by my clients approx 100 and require access to products and the ability to upload photos etc

so space will be a big consideration as photos will need to be stored on the server. More space the better

Hi

I wouldn't compare too many hosts to fasthosts! they are known for overselling and under delivering.

How much diskspace & bandwidth do you need?

to begin might need around 2gb but then if we run out of space then we want the flexibility of increasing the size

You can consider one of our Windows VPS plan for hosting your website. You will have complete Administrator control with Remote Desktop access to manage your clients. You can check the plans at http://www.eukhost.com/windows-vps-hosting.php

Our advanced plan http://www.2008hosting.net/Windows_Web_Hosting.aspx for £59.99/Year includes 2Gb disk space. For extra disk space you have various options £40/Year per 1Gb disk space or you could upgrade to one of the reseller plans.
