Hi,

I'd like to know if anybody has ever create an automated bot for MSN.

I'd like somebody to be able to put in a dedicated e-mail address on MSN and let them ask it any I.T Related Questions. Preferably simple home questions etc.

When I was about 14, there was a site where it basically made it for me, I just put in questions what the person would write and then what I wanted the Bot to respond with.

I cannot find that site now, with looks of it, there's talk of all API etc.

Help!! :)

Cheers

Not specifically an MSN bot, however I've set a few "Eggdrop" bots up using IRC, if you could interface IRC output with MSN I reckon Eggdrop would be a good choice, it's an excellent script. For more information on Eggdrop http://www.eggheads.org/.

Ah, how I miss that kind of stuff :) Days spent on IRC without a care in the world! Do you still use IRC?

Do you still use IRC?

Not publically, although it's still in widespread use in large datacentres for internal use. ie Alerting engineers to tickets, etc. :)

IRC is alive and kicking

its extremely handy for developers to get technical questions answered quickly

i've found the help on IRC invaluable on more than one occasion.

its great being able to have a real time chat with a expert stranger
