Good morning,
I'm looking into CRM at the moment and wondered how other people have found different providors. So was just wondering if anyone could answer the following questions;
Who did you choose and why?
Have you integrated your marketing activities into your CRM system?
Has it changed your business for the better and why? (Any examples using %'s would be greatly appreciated).
How do you see the CRM providor of your choice impacting your business for the next 5 years?
Thanks
Dawg

Sounds like homework to me. There are lots of CRM threads here if you Search.

Am using Zoho
Low cost of entry
Low cost per user
Very easily manipulated to own needs
Allows 250 emails/day
.......
and many other standard online CRM features, but for a lot less cash.

For anyone looking for CRM solutions you should consider:-
1. Budget (many software options available with a range of features and mostly priced accordingly)
2. Hosted or NonHosted (many offerings are now web-based which gives greater freedom and software as a service is acceptable to your Company
3. Integration (many CRM solutions are just that - for CRM. If you are looking for an integrated solution, you should consider the additional running cost of multiple systems for CRM, Accounting, Support etc.
4. Consider the features you need - sometimes you have specialist needs which are met better by a combined solution for your IT.
If you want to discuss further, please let me know - it is after all what I do for a living!

CMS isn't CRM. ;)
As far as the original question is concerned, what was wrong with the answers in your first thread? (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=852520#post852520)

Who did you choose and why?
Netsuite as wanted integrated solution for CRM, ERP and e-commerce with high level of customisation requirements
Have you integrated your marketing activities into your CRM system?
Yes - use Netsuite for generic campaigns - often use another specialized product for more targeted campaigns due to better tracking/reporting festures
Has it changed your business for the better and why? (Any examples using %'s would be greatly appreciated).
Yes - it has provided greater visibility of our contacts and customers to the organization as a whole and allos us to prospect in a better and more structured way. On Marekting side handling subscriptions and being more focused in marketing activities.
I would say we are 20% more efficient and as we have an integrated ERP system this is about 30% more efficient.
How do you see the CRM providor of your choice impacting your business for the next 5 years?
As we chose Netsuite, we are happy with hosted solutions and software as a service. However, the cost of Netsuite is now high as there target customers are shifting from SMB (in our opinion). We are currently reviewing alternative solutions
