Buying from USA

Hello

We have a few businesses and for one of our businesses we buy from the USA.

We will be placing our first order tot he usa this friday but we want to know how much customs we willpay on the goods

You will be charged VAT on the goods at whatever rate is applicable to them in the UK. Of course if you are VAT registered you can claim that back.
You will also be charged import duty. The rate depends on what the goods are. Contact HMRC to find out.

Both the above will be applied based on the declared value of the goods.
