Over the past two weeks I am finding that most businesses that I speak to are very pessimistic about their future. Most of them have seen a significant fall in their businesses compared to the same time last year. I for one have had two projects cancelled on me at the last minute. Are others on the forum finding that its getting tougher out there?

I'm not having a recession and never will.
I suggest you don't talk yourself into having one either.

I'm not subscribing to any coming recession, I'm far too busy.

It is all ok, no recession here... Gordon has it all covered, the economic cycle is going as planned and "those are not the droids you are looking for". :)
<sorry if this doesn't make sense, a sad Star Wars - jedi mind trick joke>

Not subscribing to that one either, no time for a recession.

Good suggestion there Rob. All too often the treasury sneezes and small business catches avian flu, which is, sometimes I believe, because a lot of small businesses run on a shoestring and even the mention of the R-word makes then tighten the belt to the point where they throttle themselves.
You make your own luck in business, good or bad. Recession, what recession?
