View Full Version : e-shop packages
Hi there
I wonder if anyone can help. I'm looking for an e-shop package that provides a website template, e-shop, payment methods and anything else. I've looked at 123.reg and they offer a basic e-shop for £4.99 a month and also found this one
http://order.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/Eshops;jsessionid=CBE25406A5C9F65216A95F6DD5EE8FCF .TC31a?__frame=_top&__lf=Static (http://order.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/Eshops;jsessionid=CBE25406A5C9F65216A95F6DD5EE8FCF .TC31a?__frame=_top&__lf=Static)
My budget is only around £4.99 a month or as close to that as possible. It is for something that is just going to be a test at the moment and then upgraded at a later date.
I found the templates on the 123.reg option very standard and the main elements of the site design were not very suitable. However with 1and1 it seems you can customize the design a lot better.
Just wondered if anyone knows of any other suppliers for this kind of thing?
Thanks

Hi PVA,
If you're looking to keep your costs right down to start an online shop, this could be an approach you might want to consider:
1) You could get a free website template from a wide range from numerous sites, a couple you might want to start with are these websites:
http://www.freewebtemplates.com/
http://www.templatesbox.com/templates.htm
2) Plug-in Feature Rich Ecommerce in To Your Website Templates to create an online shop
One way to achive this is to use our Shop Integrator ecommerce toolkit (http://www.shopintegrator.com/)(from only £39.99 per year)
3) You could then get some free web hosting and email with the purchase of a domain name from a hosting company.
A hosting company that does this is Nameroute: http://www.nameroute.co.uk/ (domain name bundled with 10Mb hosting space and email address @ your domain name for £5 per year)

You want to sell online, and your budget is £4.99 a month
I really recommend you take a step back and wonder how and why your online competition are investing 1000's, and your bricks and mortar competition can invest 10000's

As I said this is a trial nothing more nothing less, more of a hobby thing initially and if I get the grounding done I will invest more as and when required. No rush from my side and not looking to make £££££'s straight off.
