A little bit of help/info that i have just found out... most of you more experienced business types will probably have known this, but I had never heard of it before, I am from the West Country after all :D
I have just finished some work for a company in Poland (should I put this in the press release section :) ) and was asked to send over my bank details.
Sent them over accordingly and got a message back asking for SWIFT code and IBAN number... did not have a clue so I rang the small business advice hotline (Alan from Alpha) and he advised I speak to my bank...
The bank gave both to me straight away... so my hot tip for UK companies working for overseas companies, remember to put your SWIFT & IBAN details on your invoice or it can delay payment.
