I would like to shout a BIG THANKYOU to More than words who has kindly purchsed a painting from my 30 Day Spectacular.

It wouldn't have happened without UKBF and all the kind offerings of help to jazz up my site.

Thanks to you all.

...................................Keep shopping (LOL)

Nice one Claire, makes it all worthwhile doesn't it? Well done.

I didn't buy it to be kind, I bought it because I love it!!

I've just got to decide where to hang it now!

Claire, I've been thinking. Don't know if it's up your street at all, but I saw some art type workshop advertised at Barleylands Craft Village. Would that be anything you could do? 'Create your own masterpiece in an afternoon' type thing? You could charge a fee for the class, as well as the supplies the people use. Just something simple rather than giving away your secrets!

Hi Morethan, I have my name on the waiting list for a studio at barleylands craft village. At the moment I couldn't run a workshop there unless I owned premises or worked with an existing owner. Only problem is, owners are contracted by barleylands not to be competition to each other and there is already an artist there doing the same type of stuff as me.

Perhaps we could get together to boot her out!

You wouldn't necessarily have to run it there though. You could use any venue until your name came up. Ooooorr, we find some old shack barn, offer the owner to do it up if we can rent it of him for next to nothing, then have an office for me, a studio for you and a 'brainstorming area' (ie comfy sofas where we can sit down and have a cuppa!)

Anyone got a spare barn?!
