We're just outside Hatherleigh in Devon. Have just joined this forum and hoping to be able to contribute regularly.
We've just launched a Wordpress based support and training business to help small businesses achieve successful websites, with great traffic potential and good conversion.

Welcome I really like the idea of businesses trading in the middle of nowhere .
It really is amazing when you go out and talk to people in Devon and Cornwall just how many businesses there are here

It's has it's good points. What's your business? Or maybe you prefer not to say - sorry for asking if that is the case.

Jeremy - you're right about the middle of nowhere thing. I've been here for 11 years now and I'm almost used to it. Thank God I work online, (if I'm honest), I might have gone slightly mad otherwise!
I went to a business networking meeting a few months ago but I think they've since stopped happening (The Ruby Country Initiative - lack of funding).
Does anyone know of any good, friendly networking groups in the area?

We are Cornwalls' ONLY motor home hire specialist!:D
There are some people at the moment in tents wishing they had one! lol!

I didn't know you could hire motor homes. Where is your website please? Ah - it's OK - I think I've found it.

You certainly can! Posh camping! lol! Great laugh though, touring is the best as you can wake up somewhere new every day, seems to make the week last longer too for some reason. We do have offers on, but our website needs updating so don't trust the prices lol! They are cheaper!:D

We've been wanting to do this for ages but have been put off by the price of motorhomes to buy. Over £100K for the one that caught my eye.
I don't suppose we're good hiring candidates as we've got three small dogs and I'm not leaving them behind. The idea of it is very appealing though. We often drive to France and the journey would be more fun in a motorhome. It's amazing how booked up the hotels along the main routes through can be.
Yes your site needs some work - you could do a lot with it. One immediate point though - you could update the FAQ to clearly state your policy on pets.

Unfortunately i cannot access the site to do anything with it, and the company that are meant to get upset when i ask for changes - so am looking at doing something better elsewhere!
As for the dogs - long as they are small, we have a friendly one available - with air con so they won't get hot! :D

Well, speak to me about a new site if you'd like a different take on it. We've started an innovative new service that helps small businesses get a new site up and running quickly. It includes training, SEO advice and more. Plus there is an easy exit strategy if you decide you don't like our service.
Now if you are able to talk to us about including our dogs in our trip, I'm interested.

Looks like we will have to get together and have a chat. Our website doesn't do what we were promised it would - in fact it hasn't earned any sales at all! They all coming in through refferals. As regards to the dogs, as long as they are well behaved isn't a problem at all. You pay a damage deposit, so if they eat a seat, i eat your damage deposit! :D
We are dog owners too, so we are quite friendly to the four leggeds - we have a cage available, or seat belt clips to keep them in one area as in france they are not permitted access to the cab. We can sort a board out for that to seperate the van from the cab - no probs at all.
