Business Link website advice makes my head hurt with its madness, as I've said before (http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=108905) (with more here (http://www.malcolmcoles.co.uk/blog/business-link-advice-completely-wrong/)). But can someone explain this page to me:
http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/bdotg/action/detail?type=RESOURCES&itemId=1073791759
When they say company in the first section, do they in fact mean business? Ie this bit:
They should also include the following:
a unique identification number
your company name, address and contact information
the company name and address of the customer you are invoicing
What sort of company do they mean when they say 'your company name'? They go on to talk about additional requirements for limited companies further down the page. Should this first bit say 'your business' instead of 'your company'?
