Hi All,
My name is Claire and I'm a freelance artist. I paint contemporary abstract work and although I started off just trading to Joe Bloggs on eBay, I now have a nice clientele of business people who buy art work for their offices and business premises.
I've joined to meet business people and hopefully get the business world into art and incorporate a bit of culture into everyone’s day.
See you around the forums.
Take care
Claire

Hi Claire,
I am originally from Ingatestone (family still lives there), so definitely know your neck of the woods!

Hi Claire, I'm another lover of art although I'm more into portraits. Haven't painted in years though as there's always been something keeping me too busy. You've done some lovely work, where did you learn?

Hi Claire
I'm a little late on the welcome but now you can add a chelmsfordian to your list of Essex contacts... I grew up in Brentwood and worked there 3 years ago fo an employment agency before setting up for myself. I noticed in another thread that you mentioned you were once in the industry, I used to work for Select, what about you?

Hi Russ,
I started out at Select Employment in Brentwood (not your select), then went on to Advantage Recruitment in Billericay and moved from there to Premier Appointments in Romford. FInally got out and after working at Jobnet on a regeneration project am now firmly ensconsed in the LSC.
Oh, and I tried the freelance malarchy for a bit too, but the industry is too tough to maintain a good work/life balance for my liking. Good luck though, I think your the only Reccy person on here, so you should do OK

Hi Claire
If it was select Employment (Debbie & Clive Foster) then it was the same Select... You didn't like the recruitment industry then??? What do you do for the LSC?
