Hello,
I have a small limited company with very straightforward accounts and a turnover in the region of £10k.
I have prepared myself the accounts to attach to form CT600 for HMRC and printed both the form and the accounts in pdf.
I would like to find an accountant to just have a look at them to tell me whether they are formally correct.
How can I find one willing to do that, and how much should I be charged roughly?
Many thanks in advance.

You also need to prepare accounts for companies house too, which need to be in a specific format in order to be accepted.
I'd be happy to help you out, please send me a PM if interested.

As Blackberry says, I'm slightly concerned from your post whether or not you have prepared accounts which will satisfy Companies House. For example, do you have things like a director's report and the relevant notes to the accounts, or have you simply got a P&L & Balance sheet?
I would recommend finding an accountant local to you and asking for a brief meeting. Many will help you free of charge (of course to some extent in the hope that if/when business grows you will put your accountancy work their way).
If you're in West Kent/East Sussex give me a shout.

Thank you very much for your replies.
I have already filed abbreviated accounts with Companies House a few months ago and they have been accepted.
Now the deadline for HMRC is 18th July.
The complete accounts that I prepared this time include director's report, balance sheet, profit and loss account and notes.
I work abroad that's why it's almost impossible for me now to have a meeting with an accountant in the UK.
Thank you CassioAcc and Blackberry, I will send you a copy, that I ask kindly to keep private.
Many thanks
