Hi
Many of you have been kind to give your time with feedback about sitepal in the past, Thanks for this.
I really need your feedback again with regard to what you do & dont like about the US sitepal website.
The reason why i ask this of you is that i am designing a UK version.
Even if you don't like the product can you still give me feedback on how you think it is best to sell a product on-line.
Does the sitepal site present the product in the right way?

I hope that if everyone gives their input we can all benefit
Thank-You i look forward to reading your post
Best

I think your site looks great Tony :) Cant really thing of anything I would change.
many people have told me that the US voice puts them off
so i will be using a UK voice so i hope that works well
i am keeping the same website colours/buttons etc although getting rid of the flash movies that makes the site look busy
i still think that the real benefits of the product are not coming across in the right way to UK customers so with feedback i hope to get this right.

Hi Tony,
I agree that flash movie should be gotten rid of. I feel the site needs to be all british without having an american role come into it.
It will make it userfriendly if you make the style british :) and yes a good old british voice would be good, maybe David Attenborough ;)
Hope it goes well.
Regards,
Callum

You say make the site british?
Would you say that because the site is american it puts you off the product?
It does seem that the british don't like the americans as much i as i thought.
People keep saying the same sort of thing to me.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

Hi Tony,
I don't think it is because the British don't like the Americans, just that if you are targetting a UK audience a British Accent would be more acceptable and better for your marketing.
I think it is a great idea.

Its just i would feel more secure about it being British, sort of missleading when you go onto a american site, you want it to be british so that if you got any problems its not to difficult to phone them up if you get me.

Callum

I didn't like the flash stuff either, it made me annoyed after just seconds. The other thing I didn't like was the huge green BUY button which I found too agressive. Normally when I see that I think SALES not quality and click straight off. Being bang smack in the middle of the screen I couldn't seem to get away from it looking around the page.
I liked the success stories, client showcase and offers but didn't know what they were until I took the effort to really browse the page to see what was there. I would suggest making them more visible so that you catch on as soon as you land on your page.
Apart from that browsing through I found it very easy to understand and find my way about. Once I got off the homepage it was somewhere I'd be happy to spend a bit of my time if the product interested me.

The main thing i would say is get rid of all references to the fact that you are an affiliate rather than a full reseller.
I like the american site though, but if you amend as per advice given above, sure you will do fine,
good luck

I hope I am not being to negative but what is the point of a talking head on a website? It does not give the person veiwing the site a feeling of personal contact rather the opposite. I would find this annoying and cannot imagine it increasing sales.
It is very cleverly done but cannot help thinking that it is technology trying to find a place - if that makes sense!
I hope to be corrected - I am not a marketing man - maybe I am on another planet and have missed something? :D :D :D :D

I think it is like marmite!
Luckily there are enough people that like it to make it a worthwhile business.

Thanks for your input
SitePal does help to increase sales, so i will make sure the UK site shows this to people who may think like yourself.
