I would like some opinions on whether it is best to customise the payment provider payment pages.
Basically when someone makes a transaction on my site, they are taken to a RBS WorldPay payment page. I believe that I am able to change the look of this payment page to match the branding of my site.
Do you think this is a good idea - or would people feel more secure just seeing the RBS WorldPay branding?
Thanks
Paul

Still trying to decide whether to customise the WorldPay payment pages to look like my site or not? These payment pages are hosted on the WorldPay secure servers however they do give me the option to customise them to look like my site.
My dilemna is whether a user of my site would feel more secure if it is just the RBS WorldPay branding or whether they would be less confused if it looked like my site. One of the payment options is recurring payments which is a contract between my customer and RBS WorldPay so perhaps it makes sense to keep the RBS branding.
I would really appreciate some advice on this as this is my first ecommerce venture and I want to try and get things as perfect as possible:)

We still need to do this, but i think it would be better to make your payment pages look more like your website. Some customers may get put off but the offsite payment page.

Thanks supplybus
Funniky enough I just bought something off ASDA website and I noticed they do exactly this. Being a web developer I tend to look at the address bar but I would imagine the average user wouldn't even notice the address is not my domain name URL and is instead the payment processor domain.
I therefore think I will go ahead and brand the payment pages to match my site design - bah yet more work!!
Thanks
