Forgive my total ignorance

Can someone claify above business for sale?

£29950 - what exactly am I buying for this amount? Is this a one off or something I will have to pay every year?

Once this payment has been made what other annual costs will have to be found?

What does SAV mean?

Many thanks

:)

Hi,

You should get all the fixtures and fittings, also the good will. SAV means stock at valuation..you'll have to pay extra for that. You will have to pay rent for the shop and flat..

PM if you want any more help :D

What you are buying for this amount is the business and the right to take over the lease on the property at whatever the cost is in their contract.

This is a one off payment for the business.

You will then be responsible for all the running costs, eg lease, utilities, rental of the equipment (I am guessing that the tanning equipment is rented as there is no mention of payment for assets but the agent would be able to clarify what is included in the sale memorandum)

What does SAV mean

This means Stock at value i.e. you will buy all the stocks of beauty and tanning products at a value which is defined as what it cost the business owner.

As with all business purchases it should be researched thoroughly looking at any available accounts, look through the books to see if the £1000 pw is recent or has been consitantly achieved.

After this look to see what you can bring to the business to develop it further.

I think that's a bit pricey for what it is :D or is that just me being tight?
Our business is taking double plus more than that and all equipment etc is included for £39,950.

You may as well get an empty shop and hire sun beds yourself, if that's what you have decided to do.
