Hi all.
I am considering an e-mail newletter campaign but do not want to fall foul of any spam faux pax or legal implications simialr to that of ctps for telemarketing.
Does anyone know any laws that apply or where I could go for more information.

Spamhaus have a pretty easy to understand summary of what they consider spam and legitimate email. (Spamhaus are a pretty highly respected organisation in the world of antispam.)

Steve at a risk of a totally blatent plug... have a look at http://www.ecust.co.uk - we fall into the closed loop opt in systems on the spamhaus link.

We have a 'sponsored' free version for those who would like to either trial it or just never want to have to pay for it.
