hi all
i do not know if whether anyone saw "Watchdog" last night but it was rather disturbing. apparently Cavendish Black have been conning a number of small businesses. Including mine.
i was approached by them earlier in the year with a view to placing an ad in the "Fall Out" magazine. A periodical that was targeted towards emergency staff (police etc).
let me advise you that i have been fobbed off with excuse upon excuse as to what the magazine had not been published. I now accept i have been conned. The month is now october (it was supposed to go in July) and i still have recieved no indication that my advert will ever be published.
it is also interesting to note that my wife is an Accident and emergency doctor, she has neither seen nor heard of this magazine. so i do doubt if any are distributed at all!
I have not lost much money on this and i have put it down to experience. All i can do now is to contact the Office of Fair trading and alert all here, both of which i have now done.
I urge all present to be on the look out for these tricksters.
Take a look at the link http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/reports/financial/financial_20051004_1.shtml
Best Regards
