Hi everyone,
I was given this link and told you lot are a very helpful bunch and seeing as I always need help here I am :D
I'm Tasha, a mum of four lovely kids (I wasn't saying that earlier today though lol) aged 6, 4, 2, and 4mths but no more for me now. I also run www.storkgifts.co.uk which took 18mths from first idea to proper launch, that was about 5mths ago now and getting the site out there is proving very frustrating but I'm learning new bits every day that hopefully will eventually help.
Juggling the kids, business, home and marriage (not in that order :D) means 16hr days 7 days a week and my little one still has me up 4-6 times a night so basically I'm knackered!!!
I look forward to getting to know you and your businesses and hope to pick your brains on a regular basis because I am disasterously bad at putting all this business theory into practice  .

Hi Tasha,
Welcome to the forum, I too have 4 kids, one is even called Tasha.
You have a very nice site there, you just have to keep plugging away and the traffic will build (5 months is brand new when it comes to the web, or ay business)

Hi Tasha and a very warm welcome to the forums.
We are all here to help each other so if you have any questions just fire away and wait for the stampede :D
ps The one thing we do not do is advise on being kept awake all night but that apart we have experts in virtually everything else :D

Nope it's not good this not sleeping thing :?
Thank you both for saying hi, wish I had been introduced to these forums a couple of years ago but it's brill to have found people who have gone through the same things.
Good choice of name that Top Hat ;) opps booby monster says it's bed time so I'd better depart. That's Dion btw not DH!!
Look forward to posting on here (where i'll find the time for all these new addictions of mine I have no idea).

(Un)fortunately I cannot say I have experienced the same thing so find it very hard to empathise..............both of my girls woke once per night for the first couple of weeks and then slept through, it seems such a long time ago as they are now 11 and 9.

Hello Tash,
You brave lady!!! And there was me in tears of frustration yesterday, because my adorable 2 year old was making it totally impossible to get all my urgent work done - now I just feel pathetic!
Welcome to the forum, I am sure you will find it helpful and addictive.
I have seen your site before and think it is lovely, particularly the Bunnies range.

Hi Kate, I think we frequent a few of the same forums :) I actually found it harder when it was just me and Thai than I do with four and a business to try and promote. I think it's because when you're that busy you don't get to think about it too much. Saying that I was pulling my hair out all day yesterday, when one goes they all do  .
I've visited your site too and it's great, we have the same taste in great stuff :)
Look forward to picking your brains (so to speak)

btw I used to work in Bromley so did DH many moons ago!

Hi Tash and welcome to the forum
I've got 4 kids as well and my eldest is also 6. The youngest is 16 months though so sleepless nights are thankfully just a memory.
Your site is excellent and some of the stuff on it had me reaching for my wallet. However with 4 children already the house is stuffed with toys as I'm sure you can imagine.
Have you tried promoting your site on the various parenting websites. There are loads of them about including Ravenfire's Mumszone. Anyway congrats on getting the business up and running and I hope it does well for you.
Anyway, better get off and do some work now - although I might just quickly pop back to your site for another look at that pink gingham teddy bear...
Regards

Thanks for thinking of me Joy, but I sent her this way..lol! I told Tash what a fab lot you all were and how she would be able to get some great advice on here.

She did indeed so just remember to blame her ;)
Thanks for the welcome Joy. I find it so hard not to keep all the bits for my yongest Dion, he has inherited a pink musical bunny that he fell in love with (they aren't even up on the site yet!!). Like you thought I'm totally overrun with toys, be glad when I can finally start getting rid of some of them tbh, after reappearing four times I can safely say they have lost their appeal, at least to me.

Welcome to the site! I don't have any kids so I do admire anyone who can juggle children and hard work in the pursuit of their dreams.
Take a look at http://borngifted.co.uk/baby-gifts/main since purchasing a few items from them they send me newsletters and discounts deal offers of the month.
Perhaps you could also organise new mother parties or do something linked to baby showers on your site.
Good luck with it all!

Thanks RSL :) As it happens I have BIG plans for this but it's in the planning stage until DH hands over the BIG money for it too lmao. No seriously both ideas are in the pipeline it's just finding enough time to build the extention to the business while making sure what is there doesn't get neglected. I can't wait though and hope it happens soon, would have already if we weren't buying a house (I don't want to buy but alas these things must be done sigh).
Hopefully though with the help of you guys and some real effort on my part things will pick up (and I really do need help with the newsletter/promo side of things so I'll be brain picking on that a lot) and I'll be able to really start moving forward.
Nice to meet you
