Creating an advert

Hi everyone,

If I want to create an advert for the local paper for my new business, how would I go abput this? Is there a computer package I could use?

Most newspapers will have a design team that will rustle up an advert for you in no time provided you give them your logo, copy etc.

Otherwise you could get a piece of design software. We use Adobe Illustrator which is perfect for what we need but there maybe some cheaper and simpler packages available that will suffice.

Speak to the newspaper first to find out what format they need it in, as that will have a bearing on what you use to create it.

As Keirms says, though, most newspapers will create the ad for you.
