Someone I know who is a web designer is regularly asked if she offers an online marketing scheme to improve PR. She just doesnt have the time to do this and its something I am very interested in knowing about but I dont know where to start.

I have done pretty well with my mumszone site, and I know a small amount of getting your site know etc, but is there an actual course or something like that that I could do to be able to have enough knowledge to do this for someone?

Does that make any sense..lol

Ravenfire, Afraid I can't recommend any courses, but most of the information you need to optimise / improve page rank / search engine market a website is available from various sources online. www.searchenginewatch.com is one of the most trusted resources.

I find it quite surprising that web design and basic search engine marketing have emerged as two separate disciplines. Search engine optimisation is something that should be included as an integral part of web design from the very outset.

RSL, I saw your other post. Unfortunately, while I can answer general questions on this forum, it is just about impossible to answer a question as specific as yours without a proper marketing brief. What you need is very specific advice tailored to your business, target audience, key message and budget. And yes, I am afraid that means paying for our service at www.consulttheguru.com!
