hello all you bizkids
ive made a couple of posts and been lerking a little
nice place you have here guv...
I started in Business as a publisher at age 17
having previously been brought up in a pub/hotel/business environment
i am now 34 and have stumbled over the usual stumbling blocks
and learnt sometimes harshly from my mistakes
I have spent several years studying philosophy/psychology/group dynamics/religion/TAO/martial arts philosophies...
all with my business in mind...
The company i work within are looking to let fly a new printed publication and online broadcasting medium, and we need to learn the formal technicalities about PLC/company law/getting investment etc etc
and also broadcasting media law such as liability/freedom of speach/what protection do we have??? etc etc when we are shouting out to the masses..
I hope in return i may be able to give any advice needed from my experience
to some here who may ask of it..
and hope that my posts are well received..

yes ive studied the philosophy for business reasons but not the physical fighting bit... I never Joined the ninja network because i dont agree with them legitamising it into a legal accepted artform...
Ninjas were originally outcasts from society who survived on the fringes of society and developed their own way of life to survive against impossible odds... Like Ras Tafari they became the warriors fighting for the rights of the poor and supressed in medeivil Japan..
I dont agree that Ninjutsu has become a national pride of Japan, and as such i do not want to be called a Ninja thank you :) Injan is the name of my cousins dogs new baby puppy... thats why i used it....
frizbees :)
i am a publisher/broadcaster in the 21st century

Aw, and I thought I'd been so clever figuring out your name!
I find the relation between mind and body interesting, and lie awake at night thinking about the link. Ever noticed how you can feel physically sick with fear? Be bouncing off walls with energy from your latest business idea? Do you think that training the body could help with the necessary emotional attributes needed for entrapreneurship? For example, training your guts could give you guts? (Before you think I'm just linking a homograph (two words with different meanings but spelt the same), think about WHY it's a homograph)
I don't know, it's all very wishy washy, but that's how I'd relate martial arts and business. When I do martial arts (which is very rarely), I go for internal kung fu (taiji, hsing yi), but I have read Path Notes by Doc Morris, and enjoyed it.
My business? Well I'm just making myself useful by bringing the *excellent* open source software into the businessplace. Cut your email server costs in half anyone? *Grin.

yes i agree i learnt some physical fighting arts in my school days
and i meditate with these moves in a way similar to Tai Chi
and hypertension (where you tence your muscles and pretend u have weights, but there are no weights) i think bruce lee did this??
i am lazy though and dont do it as much as should....most of my time is spent thinking and meditating about the world around me/politics/my own relationships etc i do find the physical exercises i mentioned above as very usefull!! you are right you can feel a physical pain where there may also be a problem in your life or environment... it is very good!!
i find i have become successfull with the ninpo philosophy to the point where i usually never get attacked or need to fight... i usually know whats going to happen and get out of the way or dispurse the situation beforehand...I find Tai chi is also good for dealing with permanent competitives that i cannot dispurse...and find tai chi meditation helps me to flow with it and utilise it and to augment with it...
i guess its all just about being older wiser and basically grown up...

kewl i look forewards to seeing more about that.
