i am looking to buy a couple of PR books and was wondering if anyone could recommend me some good ones? There are so many out there!!
Any help or advice would be great

I guess it all depends what you need them for? Do you want to teach yourself about PR, cut through the jargon, look for case studies etc. Let me know and I'll come back to you.

Have a look at the CIPR site (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) they have produced guides to various aspects of PR.
There are also some DIY guides to PR out there if you want to do it all yourself. Have a look at Amazon for reviews.

When you say good PR books, are you looking for books that will help you to be able to prepare and distribute your own news releases? Or looking at PR as a wider subject?

I found that as a PR novice, Antonia Chitty's PR book (search acpr I think) was a great starting point for me and has brough me good ROI.
