I usually keep all my claims for a while and do them in one go as they are such a hassle. I had a claim for a missing parcel from October 2008 but had to wait a couple of months anyway as it was international to see if it would turn up.
I completed the form recently as it states that claims must be made within 12 months of the posting date and sent it off. I got a standard letter back where they had ticked the box for rejection as claims had to be made within 6 months.
I have sent it back again higlighting the place on the form where 12 months is mentioned but wondered if anyone could shed any light on this. Have the forms been changed recently or are they just trying it on?
It's particularly annoying as I paid a lot of extra money for insurance.
