**Have also posted this in tenders but thought i would try my luck here too! **
Hi
I'm after someone to help with seo in ways of re-writing our main category and sub-category descriptions and writing regular articles to go on the site and possibly the blog too. Would like to keep all content on the site but open to ideas from seo experts!

All content must be unique and seo friendly and also useful to the customer too.

I would like someone who knows what they are doing and has a portfolio of other seo clients and not someone who thinks they can have a go.

Please look at this site www dot gettingpersonal dot co dot uk to see what i mean by category descriptions and their articles.

I can email over a list of keywords which i would like to rank for to start off with, i don't believe they are difficult but have used a company on page 1 of google for seo and they submitted a couple of articles and changed some text in 4 mths, i might be expecting too much but i do expect to get more for my money than that. If you think you can help or can recommend anyone then please reply below or pm me. The site is having a makeover and due to go live within the next couple of days so will look much better than it currently does!

Thanks
Lianne

Try getafreelancer.com if you have no luck here, or post in some of the article writing forums (google for these). US authors are usually a better option due to exchange rate.

Good luck

Sounds like you just need a content writer if you have already done the keyword research and have taget phrases in mind. That's more than half the battle you'd pay an SEO to do for you.

can anyone recommend someone who is good at doing seo copy to help with rankings, not articles submission but copy for all my main categories and sub categories to help with rankings for less competitive words? I've tried searching google but there are so many to choose from!

Don't know if you've found anyone yet to write some copy on your category pages but whoever you find you must ensure that they use SELLING techniques in the copy, I think copy writers do a good job but feel they don't PUSH the customer to buy as hard as they could, I often end up adding SELLING text in the copy and call to action methodology within the text as well.

Don't forget (not that you have) you're online to sell so SELL, SELL & SELL

Good luck
Iain

And most are a nightmare to work with I'm afraid, finding a good author is a real pain.

I was thinking of taking my search elsewhere, look at boards offering student work... try and find a marketing undergraduate in need of some extra cash for example.

I have not tried it but think that may work out better than using the authors you will find online, unless you were planning to pay top whack.

I would not entertain a non native English speaker either.... which many are.
