At the title says, I'm looking for a free or a cheap file hosting company, I don't really want to download any software I would prefer to login, upload my files and that's it, obviously would need to download as well - any recommendations?

Cheers guys

Iain

Have a look at Dropbox: http://www.getdropbox.com/screencast

Works with Windows, Mac and Linux I think.

You get 2gb Free if I remember correct or you can pay for more :)

we offer a "home" hosting pack for £5 per year,
has unlimited email address and ftp access. No software required, and you get 50mb space and 500mb bandwidth.

The other option is the "business" hosting for £15 per year. Its the same but you get 300mb space and 3gb bandwidth.

You have your own control panel so you have full control on your site.

We'd be happy to help, if you want to go ahead pm me, or visit our site www.vitatia.com (http://www.vitatia.com)

thanks

Careful, should the OP go with your hosting package they're likely to be braking your Faire Use Policy (assuming its being used for storing backups).
