Here at Cougar Security we have created international investment opportunities. We will be expanding over the next year to 5 other countries.

The Biggest news to come from our United Kingdom office is the scrapping of our quotation system.

We have now exposed our prices unlike other companies who give out quotes. You can view our prices of each type of guard on our services page http://www.cougarsecurity.org.uk/services.html

All our opposition companies will give you a quote for no less than £12.00 per hour, per guard. We trample prices like those, Our average price for supplying guards is usually £8.75 per hour, per guard.

What a difference dont you think?

If you are looking for Security guarding or you know of a company who is feel, free to give them our website address http://www.cougarsecurity.org.uk

if you have visit our website before and are not getting the prices on our services page. Hit the refresh button on your browser the new page should appear.

thanks for your time guys and girls

Robert,

By posting your prices at your site, you are clearly aiming to become the low cost leader in your field. This gives you a clear focus when it comes to marketing, but you may want to address the following thoughts that will arise in readers' minds:

- If you're the low cost leader, your costs must be less which means that your service must be more basic.

If your costs are lower because you have cut fat and unnecessary overhead, I would say so (although your claims must be credible). I would also emphasize that your level of service is comparable to that offered by companies charging higher prices.

- You are posting your prices, but how do they really compare with the competition?

Can you include a price comparison at your website? If so, would this be a wise thing to do, or is there some better way to position yourself as the low cost leader?

- Most low cost leaders achieve cost reductions by high volume sales.

What would be your answer to this question?

I hope these comments help.

I am unsure of the laws of depromoting other businesses. For example if I was to compare rates with other companies on my website would they take me to court over it.

Is it legal if it is please inform me about it.

if I know im clear and cant be sued for what I think could be depromoting I will add a comparison to my website.

I'm going to have to defer on this one and ask others to help. In the US, companies can compare prices with named competitors all they like, and it's a central component of many commercials. As I remember, the laws about TV advertising are strict in Britain and you cannot name competitors. Given how universal the Internet has become, maybe the rules are more lenient there.

The point is that, as the low cost leader, you must convince your customers that you really do offer the best price. Maybe a statement such as "Compare our prices with the competition" would help. Maybe you could offer a matching deal if someone finds another company offering the same service at a lower price. If low cost is your message, you need to pound away at that theme.

I am no legal expert but I think you can name competors if you are comparing prices the supermarkets do it all the time.

And so the do the pubs. What you are not allowed to say is we are better than [competitors name] but if its black and white prices you are stating fact rather than making false claims against a competitor which is ilegal.
